The LIFE Accelerator
LIFE is Europe’s only business accelerator dedicated to early-stage clean technology businesses. LIFE nurtures these companies from concept through development to first sales and – ultimately – to full commercial success. This process relies on extensive in-house expertise and the best externally-contracted resources, channelled through a tried and tested acceleration process.
Accelerator
LIFE works with clean energy technology companies to accelerate their growth, reduce their risk profile and ready them for investment. LIFE does this by providing a full range of services, including specialist advice on:

Access to Capital
LIFE companies can access different types of funding:

Grants – South Yorkshire, with Objective 1 status, has probably the most favourable public sector funding environment available in Europe. Public sector grant funding is attractive to technology developers in that it represents ‘free money’ for the nascent company.

Equity – LIFE also assists clients in their search for capital by managing a Capital Network, giving client companies access to a pool of capital and associated expertise.

Debt – for appropriate projects.
